Position Description

Job Title:

Nurse Practitioner

Location:

St. Cloud, FL

Schedule: *Full Time*

Hours:

M, T, Th, Fr : 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; closed 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; closed 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Pay:

Competitive and based on past work experience.

Responsibilities:

· Provide primary care treatment in an employer-based setting.
· Offer episodic care (low acuity urgent care).
· Manage chronic diseases.
· Provide pediatric acute care for ages 2+.
· Perform CLIA waived tests.
· Dispense prescription medications (must obtain Florida Dispensing License).
· Collaborate with onsite employees for biometric screening and health education.
· Provide one-on-one health coaching and refer patients to wellness programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Graduate of a certified NP program.
· Active and unrestricted NP license in Florida.
· Minimum of 3 years of NP experience in internal medicine or family practice.
· Ability to practice independently.
· DEA licensure and prescriptive authority (Or ability to obtain before starting).
· Electronic Health Record experience.
· BLS certification.
· Passion for overall health, wellness, and patient education.

Education and Experience:

· Graduate of a certified NP program.
· Active and unrestricted NP license in Florida.
· Minimum of 3 years of NP experience in internal medicine or family practice.
· Ability to practice independently in Florida.
· DEA licensure and prescriptive authority (Or ability to obtain before starting).
· Electronic Health Record experience.
· BLS certification.
